$25 to run or walk

Online registration closes at 10:00pm on Feb 11th.  Race day registration at the UAH Fitness Center.  The 5k starts at 8:00am sharp in front of the Fitness Center and will run clockwise around the UAH campus loop before returning to the UFC.  Please park at the Fitness Center, thank you!  We will also be collecting additional donations to the American Heart Association at the registration table on race morning.

Packet Pickup: will be from 12:00pm to 7:00pm, Friday before the race at VSI Training (1217 Buford Street, Huntsville AL 35801).  Late packet pickup will be on race morning starting at 7:00am.  NOTE: If you need to pick up your packet on race morning, please try to arrive before 7:30am)

Strollers are welcomed!  If you push a stroller, please be courteous to other runners in the early stages when it's more congested.  No age limits, everyone is invited to join!

I was a 2:27 marathoner that seemed to have hit the ceiling. It seemed that I couldn't break that time. I ran a 2:20 marathon this past fall and a big reason for that success was due to coaching and guidance. Coaching is like having a second set of eyes on a problem.

As an active duty service member we are taught "Attention to Detail." I was focusing on my stronger attributes while neglecting my weaker ones. My personal coach pointed a few things out and changed a few of my workouts and like magic; I smashed my PR in the marathon.
